Leverkusen is kicking off the new 2026/2027 cultural season. From September to July, audiences can look forward to a diverse programme featuring dance, theatre, music, and cultural activities for children and young people.
Supporting young talent remains a key focus: the Young Stage Academy is expanding its programme to include the Young Dancers and Young Actors ensembles. This ensures that young talents from Leverkusen continue to receive professional support and performance opportunities.
At the Forum, international dance guest performances will provide special highlights. The US-based Koresh Dance Company and the Canadian Compagnie Cas Public will be performing in Germany for the first time. The programme is complemented by the ‘MOVE ON’ festival, featuring innovative dance and circus productions.
In theatre, the programme features prominent guests, world premieres and special literary adaptations. For children and young people, there are once again high-quality theatre offerings, which remain free of charge for schools and nurseries.
The chamber and symphony concerts combine tradition and innovation. Renowned ensembles, classical masterpieces and new educational formats are set to delight both long-standing culture enthusiasts and younger audiences.
