Emotional soundscapes and rousing improvisations

Jakob Manz

Jakob Manz is one of Germany’s outstanding jazz musicians. His virtuoso and expressive playing on the saxophone and flute captivates audiences with its remarkable melodic imagination. In his new project, Fire Storm, he combines funky grooves with classical influences and the unique sound of the balafon, played by Aly Keita.

Jan Prax Quartet

Saxophonist Jan Prax combines jazz tradition with modern intensity. With his quartet, he won the Future Sounds competition at the Leverkusen Jazz Days and established himself as a major voice in European jazz with albums such as Keepin’ A Style Alive. His new album, Traces of Light, presents contemporary jazz charged with intensity and energy.

Both artists share a common goal: to create music that inspires and moves audiences.
